NUNO FELTING with BARBARA POOLE

Students will learn how to create beautiful"Nuno Felt".

Students will make a felted fabric by combining a silk base with wool. We will lay wool on top of the silk and then felt them together. Nuno felt is lightweight with drape and flexibility. There are many possibilities for transparency, exciting textures, and layering of materials with diverse characteristics.

Students will finish the workshop with a completed scarf.

Another workshop is being planned for 2012 . . . please check back for the date and more information.
