Children, ages 8 and older (third grade), may take weaving lessons anytime on a mutually agreed upon day and time.   No previous weaving experience is necessary.  The students will wind the warp, thread a four-harness table loom, and weave a project of their choice. Possible projects include a scarf, pillow, placemats, doll blanket, and/or a belt.

Looms will be provided.

The cost is $8.50 per hour (2 hour minimum) plus materials (the cost of materials will depend on the project design; an average cotton scarf is $15.00).

A minimum of 16 hours is needed to complete a scarf.
